My approach to supervision is best summarized as following a Holistic Model (Campbell, 2000 & 2006). This model is developmental in nature and teaches with a strengths based focus. As a supervisor, I believe the development of a relationship with my supervisees will directly influence the work they do with their clients- a parallel process. In forming a professional supervisor-supervisee relationship, there is a need to establish the fundamental elements of trust and safety. Trust and safety is the basis for all therapeutic work.
